About Us
The Christensen Agency is a disability insurance brokerage office. We are located in Charlotte, North Carolina and with the use of technology we work with brokers all across the United States. Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. is our main carrier and has one of the insurance industry’s best products in the disability marketplace, but we realized they can’t serve all the disability needs your clients may need to protect. Hence we have brought in numerous carriers to fill the gaps that Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. can’t fill. Our team is designed around providing you Superior DI Product Knowledge, Service, and Sales Support. We are successful because you are successful. It’s truly a team effort and we appreciate you allowing us to be an important part of your team. |
Dale started in the insurance business in 1978. He was a career agent with Union Mutual in Madison, Wisconsin. After selling for over four years he decided to concentrate on disability insurance brokerage and has stayed with disability insurance ever since. He remembers the selling end of insurance, so he has a unique empathy for you, the producer. You do not get paid a commission unless you can place the policy, and since we too, are paid only on business placed, we have a vested interest in your business. He received his CLU in 1983 and ChFC in 1999. Even though Dale retired in 2013, he is still a valuable asset and resource we call upon from time to time. |
Mark joined the office in August, 2003. He accepted Dale’s invitation to join him in this business. He earned his BS degree in Education in 1998, after spending a number of years in the work force. He was a sixth grade teacher in Wisconsin from 1998-2003. Many of the teaching skills have transferred directly into training new and veteran brokers about selling disability insurance. His role is to promote business in the field, provide brokers with sales support and training, and be a liaison between the field and the home office. Mark earned his DIA designation in 2012. |
